Half Marathon
We trundled up to the five mile point of the Sheffield Half Marathon at the weekend. If I can’t run at the moment, I can at least watch others get to do it. Ringinglow sits at the very top of the big climb in the race (this is Sheffield, there is little in the way of ‘flat’), and it made for a misty and atmospheric vantage point. Almost six and a half thousand people made their way past us in various degrees of distress or elation, all of them met with cheers, applause, and our little boy ringing a cowbell. Inspiring stuff, and another shove for me to get this wretched achilles tendon fixed up once and for all. MRI scan this week…
Urban fell running - this is not a PB course!!
